This isn’t some crazy 19-step routine. It’s just the stuff that actually works. These are the products you buy once, realize “oh okay this is legit,” and then keep in your bathroom forever. Most of these you can grab on Amazon or literally at Target, so nothing here is deep-cut or hard to find.
I’ve used all of these long enough to know what’s worth keeping and what’s hype, so this list is basically the fast-track version of figuring it out yourself.
Facial Care

Mighty Patch
If you’ve never used pimple patches, this is basically the starter pack and the endgame. Stick it on a whitehead before bed and it does half the work for you. They stay on pretty well (you can wear them during the day if you don’t care), and it saves you from picking, which is usually what makes a small breakout way worse.
It’s simple, and honestly that’s why it works.
PanOxyl 10% Wash
This stuff is strong. Like… don’t ruin your towels strong.
But if your skin breaks out easily, especially on your forehead or jawline, this is one of the only over the counter washes that actually makes a difference. It’s not a “fun” product, but it’s definitely a “your skin looks better in two weeks” product.
Just don’t use too much. Pea size is enough.
Biodance Overnight Mask
This is the “my skin looks tired and dry and I need it to stop doing that” product. It’s not heavy, not sticky, and makes your face feel way better the next morning. If your skin leans dry in the winter or you just overdid it with actives, this helps calm everything down.
Nice little reset button.
Oral Needs

Colgate Optic White Pen
Way easier than whitening strips. You paint it on before bed and go to sleep. That’s it. After a week you can see a difference, and it doesn’t make your teeth freak out like some whitening products do.
Great for maintaining brightness, especially if you drink coffee or tea.
TheraBreath
This is the one that always sells out. It doesn’t burn, it actually keeps your breath fresh, and it lasts way longer than you’d think. If you’ve ever had morning breath you’re trying to fix, start here.
Dentists recommend it for a reason.
Tongue Scraper
Not fun, not cute, but honestly life-changing. It clears stuff brushing just… doesn’t. If you’ve never used one before, try it once and you’ll understand immediately.
Healthy Hair

Silicone Scalp Massager
This makes your shampoo work better, helps remove buildup, and just feels good. If you’ve got thick or curly hair, this is especially helpful because fingers don’t always reach your scalp the same way.
UNITE Leave-In Conditioner
Lightweight, doesn’t make your hair sticky, and protects from heat. If you blow-dry or straighten your hair, this saves the ends from getting fried.
A little goes a long way with this one.
Malin+Goetz Shampoo
More of a treat product, but it’s gentle and really nice if your scalp gets irritated easily. Smells clean without being “perfumey,” and doesn’t strip your hair.
